• CURLS

The curls in hair are achieved by employing different techniques and using some tools.

There are some types of curls as type one refers to pretty much the absence of curl or straight while type two means waves, type three presents spiraled curls and type four relates to kinks and coils.

For lazy curl a curling iron is necessary while flat iron is used for spiral curls.

It is done through blowdryer, an electrical device for drying and styling the hair. Its nozzle giving heated air is pointed to the hair to dry and style them.

Combs and picks are also used to distribute the hair and to curl or smoothen the hair.

• BUN

Bun is a typical hairstyle that is popular in almost all the regions of the world.

Its popularity is based on the fact that the hair is properly managed in this hairstyle.

In this style, hair is pulled back from the face, twisted and plaited and wrapped in  a circular coil around itself.

The bun is typically made on the top of the head or back of the head just above the neck.

The hair is fixed at the place with a hair tie, barrette, bobby pin, one or more hair stick, a hairnet, a pin or a pencil.   

• CHIGNON

In this hairstyle, women wear a large, smooth twist, roll or knot of hair at the nape of the neck or on the back of head. 

The style was popular among the Athenian woman and men in ancient times.

It is again very much back in style and becoming popular among the women of the world.

The classis chignon on the lower side of the nape of the neck looks elegant.

It gives a young and modern look if worn on the top of the head with a slightly tousled way.

• BOB

This hairstyle is simple having no treatment or artistry as it is a short form.

This style requires more a haircut than a style.

It is also known as bob cut in which short or medium length hair is kept.

In this style, hair is typically cut straight around the head at jaw level and not as long as to the shoulder.

The bob cut has a fringe of hair at the front.

• CROWN BRAID

The crown braid is also called halo braid because it creates a sort of halo while braid circles around the head.

This elegant style is easy to wear and can be dressed up or down anywhere and anytime.

It gains popularity among the girls over the last few years because it is easy for them to go to a dance or prom with this hairstyle.

It is very simple as it can be created in no time and yet it gives a beautiful look.

The different warps of hair are interwoven in a long braid which is wrapped round the head like a crown.

• FRENCH BRAID

A French braid and crown braid are almost the same in so far as their formation is concerned.

In both styles, the hair is divided in three thick warps and interwoven with each other making a thick braid.

In French style, the braid is allowed to keep on hanging on the nape of the neck while in crown style, it is twisted around the head.

• WAVE

This hairstyle is typically meant for the curly hair.

The curls of the hair are brushed or combed and flattened out to give a ripple-like look.

The scrunch dry or damp hair is tied in a form of messy bun and hair tie or hair pins can be used to keep the bun in a form.

The hair is left to dry and the bun is released and hair is sprayed with shine bright tonight hairspray.
