Though white or lighter color of the skin is not a criterion of beauty, every one wants to have the same to look attractive and different. The reason of this mindset perhaps is rooted in the racial discrimination and supremacy propagated by the Europeans as these nations have been on the forefront in all the fields of life since the advent of colonial era and slavery as most of the slaves were people of black race and colonized nations were Asians and Africans.
